About
Playbill Local is an independent city guide to live theatre — a listings hub for the shows, venues and neighborhoods that make up the local stage scene.
We are not a box office and we do not sell tickets. We point you to what's on, where it's playing, and who's talking about it — then let you find your own seat.
Coverage is edited by local critics and regulars who believe the city's best night out is still the one that starts with a curtain going up.
